Some viewers still believe the media narrative. . . . Did they forget how the FBI uncovered a “pre-planned” attack by various groups? In other words, much like the summer 2020 riots, the MAGA event was “hijacked” by extremists. Has anyone looked at the “misdemeanor” charges of those arrested? For months, those on the Left normalized rioting as part of “peaceful protests.” Who can forget the CNN reporter, the cityscape in the background flaming, describing mostly “peaceful protests?” To call Jan. 6 an insurrection is to dilute the severity of the charge—especially since the building has been partially burned once and bombed several times by true enemies of the country. There was no firearms seized from protestors (outside or inside the capitol), and invaders seem to have no plan once they got in. There was no leader, no hostages taken, no formal demands made, and no snipers taking up position. This was a constitutional protest that, like so many others last year, was hijacked by extremists. The “siege” ended in protestors taking selfies and headed back home where they found FBI agents waiting for them. We need to consider the the current tendency toward unequal and politicized treatment of U.S citizens under color of law. That is a much bigger threat to democracy than an afternoon of D.C protests. The aggression of BLM/Antifa was a model for some of these rioters.
