Plot summary

Didn't like it. I love war movies and

Didn't like it. I love war movies and I was interested to see this at first, but it is was disappointing. It's really dull, with no dialog and really no plot. I wanted a better ending. I was really hoping it would improve. I cannot see the basis for any awards it won????? I don't get it. It's sad and disappointing and dull.

An Australian pilot, who was shot down, and

An Australian pilot, who was shot down, and a wounded Chinese freedom fighter, meet and are struggling to stay alive in the jungles of Singapore, while being hunted by Japanese soldiers. There is no dialogue since they each speak a different language and no subtitles. The only communication is facial expression and gestures, but they learn to understand and help each other. It is slow-moving and not for everyone, especially if you like car chases, fighting, sex, and well-dressed men and women. Thumbs up!
