First off, most Canadians don't speak french. In one province it's all over, but the rest of the country is normal... ish. Canadians are in fact excellent soldiers, but there are so few of them it's mostly pointless. Our military is about the size of two small towns. I am kinda on the fence on this one. With the Canadian government trying to take everyone's guns, I am betting it's just a matter of time before we get invaded, by Cuba or something.
