Plot summary

A couple wake up in the night to a man searching for something in their home. After they are forced to kill him in self defense, they decide to take one hour before calling the police to search for what they hope is a hidden fortune.

The main characters are the worst actors I have seen in a long time. The point is rediculous.

Decent premise, terrible execution. It started off interesting

Decent premise, terrible execution. It started off interesting, then as it progressed, the characters became ridiculous, especially with their actions. The wife's acting was annoyingly aggressive, and the husband's just as annoyingly passive. Never mind that pretty much all cast were unconvincing in their roles, but at least you will be entertained when the couple take turns being passive-aggressive - at the most ridiculous times. The screenplay was riddled with plot and technical issues, and I'd say the entire cat and mouse in and out of the house was so illogical and ridiculous. Towards the end, we were all shaking our heads and laughing at the story's predictable plot and events. When you finally find out what they were looking for, you will be very disappointed at how silly the concept of that item being hidden in the first place, was. It's too bad... the premise had much promise, but the writing and directing failed this one. It's a very generous 5/10 from me, mainly for the laughs from a film that wasn't a comedy.

Not sure how this movie got such a high Tomatometer score? Got duped into donating an hour and half, and couldn't wait for this movie night to end. The lead actors might have potential, but no way to tell with this sorry undeveloped and totally implausible script. To cap it off, the big reveal was a big let down. There needs to be an investigation into the critics' reviews for this one.
