Bushido is 20th century invention by a commissioned novelist to present Japan to the rest od the World. It's as romanticized as the Knights in Europe.
Bushi No Ichibun - Warrior's Honor. Films that demystify all the romantic paraphernalia surrounding the samurai are always worthwhile highlighting. Most samurais where more concern about their own asses and benefits as a caste than about Japanese culture and tradition preservation as depicted in The Last Samurai (2003). And they were not elevated spirits strictly guided by honour, respect and humility. As I see it, bushido was, besides an honour code, a mean of domination from Daimyo's part. The film depicts the life of a food taster samurai who's life suffers a dramatic change after eating venomous sashimi. I really liked the plot and the performances.
Revenge is a bitch, when you're blind. Good plot, good acting, not much blood ( as in the other two movies of the trilogy), just a harakiri here, a pitiful sword duel there... Music (not much) by great Isao Tomita ( as in the other two movies of the trilogy, too)
If you thought Tasogare Seibei is pityful, this one goes overboard. Loved the two in the trilogy, this one, not so much.
and yet another requesting in the comments and not the link below. @JerryMerry there is a LINK BELOW

@tsuyatsuyafan it's a shame that you posted that without actually knowing what you are talking about. This kind of thing is the reason you Millennial and GenZ kids will never amount to anything.
