Weak

This one started out promising but quickly trailed off into nonsense.The story was weak and the acting was subpar. I found the characters hard to follow as the story progressed. What's more important, I got three quarters of the way through and I gave up. I just didn't care about what happens. That's never a good sign. It gets a weak 2.

Enjoyable Indy

I went into Bury Him knowing it was a low-budget movie, and honestly, it worked in its favor. Even though the story centers on a man trying to find the killer of his wife, the film mixes in several funny moments that keep things from feeling too heavy. The main character survives murder charges connected to his wife's death, only to find himself pulled into another messy situation while still searching for the truth. The plot keeps moving and stays engaging throughout.What surprised me most was how unique the story felt. It takes a different direction than you expect, and the script writing is above average for a film in this range. The private detective especially stands out and serves as great comic relief, balancing the darker parts of the story.Overall, the movie was solid and enjoyable. It kept me interested, made me laugh at times, and the ending feels open enough for some kind of buddy-cop style continuation with the main characters. I'd definitely watch a follow-up.
