Bring It On: Fight to the Finish brings

Bring It On: Fight to the Finish brings Christina Milian to the forefront, and her presence immediately adds a level of charisma and confidence that the franchise desperately needed by this point. She delivers the strongest performance in the film, carrying scenes that would otherwise fall flat due to a screenplay that never fully commits to deeper storytelling. While the cheer routines are energetic and well-coordinated, the narrative around them feels thin, repeating the same competition-driven structure without offering the character development or emotional arc that made the original Bring It On stand out. The first film balanced school life, personality clashes, and genuine personal growth, but this entry never reaches that level of depth, leaving much of the story feeling surface-level and predictable. The director does manage to stage visually appealing cheer sequences, yet the film still struggles to build momentum outside of them, making the pacing feel uneven.

The movie is a 6.5/10. It was really fun to watch, but I wasn't really a big fan of the Sea Lions/Dream Team. The main character Lina was really annoying. The entire time I was rooting for the Jaguars, the one with the mean girl Avery. She and the other Jaguars had that spark and there moves were WOW!, I luv it so much. The Dream team was just sloppy and lacked that spark and she basically cast the OG Sea Lions aside when they didn't adapt to her style. Alas, it was so much fun. Second place for me.
