Plot summary
Returning home from a shopping trip to a nearby town, bored suburban housewife Laura Jesson is thrown by happenstance into an acquaintance with virtuous doctor Alec Harvey. Their casual friendship soon develops during their weekly visits into something more emotionally fulfilling than either expected, and they must wrestle with the potential havoc their deepening relationship would have on their lives and the lives of those they love.

This movie is perfect
Thank you very much!
Love this film.
THANK YOU!!
copy is perfect, nothing wrong
PSA This doesn't appear to be the Criterion rip (indicated by other sources as a "Remaster"). This source and the one used by Criterion both use the BFI National Archive's 2008 restoration but, comparing the two, the one from Criterion has more noise on my computer monitor. The version used by YTS is smoother with less film grain or noise but is "less black and white" and has a tiny bit of colour on my monitor. What you prefer is entirely up to you. I hope this helps! Didn't try the 720p version by YTS.
David Lean's finest work in my opinion. Thank you very much, FREEMAN!
