Plot summary

As the war between the Hunters and Demons grows. Lieutenant Skyler goes on a secret mission to investigate the missing artifact. Soon Skylers team realise that, in addition to fighting the demons, they also must fight a demon lord.

It is fun to watch!

To be honest, I totally enjoyed watching this micro budget horror movie. If you are into big Hollywood productions, or not fond of small B-movies, or not into genre bending/blending movies, you might not like it. But again, I enjoyed watching it.My only criticism is the dialogue/dubbing editing and mixing could be better. And I believe it will get better in the next movies.What I truly enjoyed is the camera usage and the passion of the cast & crew. You can easily see that this movie is made with passion. It is not flawless and dull like many other big productions and it shows.I am longing to see the future works of this director!

Stumbling upon this 2025 horror movie titled "Bozzo in the Woods" by random chance, of course I opted to watch the movie even without ever having heard about it. I am, after all, a fan of all things horror. But I have to admit that the movie's title wasn't exactly doing a phenomenal job in selling the movie as a serious horror movie. Regardless, with it being a horror movie that I had not yet seen, of course I opted to check out what writer and director Omer Sari had to offer.Writer Omer Sari put together a pretty bad script and storyline. Sure, there were aspects here and there that played out well enough, but it was just generally a ridiculous script, and it felt like it was written by a pre-teenager who was trying to pen down the draft for his first horror short story.Given my extremely limited exposure to the Turkish cinema, of course I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list, which was actually something that spoke in favor of the movie, as I do enjoy watching new and unfamiliar talents on the screen. The acting performances were, well, ruined by the horrendous dubbed-sounding dialogue.The dialogue in the movie, though it was recorded in English, sounded extraordinarily wooden and stinted, in that particular bad dubbing way. It has to be heard to be believed, because it was pretty terrible. I can't stress enough how bad the delivery of the dubbed-sounded dialogue was, but at least it was the source of a great many good chuckles along the 104 minutes that the movie ran for. Not only was a ridiculous dialogue, but they also used an excessive amount of swearing, using the F-word, which felt fully and wholly out of place.The movie's cover was actually pretty interesting, enough so that it made me stop and take notice.Don't waste 104 minutes on watching this garbage. Some of us virtually suffered here, so you don't have to; you're quite welcome.How this movie landed a 5.4 rating here on IMDb, in this very moment of me writing this review, is simply beyond my comprehension.My rating of writer and director Omer Sari's 2025 movie "Bozzo in the Woods" lands on a very generous one out of ten stars.
