Plot summary

Anne is at a crossroads in her life. Long married to a successful, driven but inattentive movie producer, she unexpectedly finds herself taking a car trip from Cannes to Paris with Jacques, a business associate of her husband. What should be a seven-hour drive turns into a carefree two-day adventure replete with diversions involving picturesque sights, fine food and wine, humor, wisdom and romance - reawakening Anne's senses and giving her a new lust for life.

All the things a man will do just

All the things a man will do just to sleep with a woman. This movie was trying so hard to be romantic. It was not. A older woman should not portray a young, naive, and obedient woman. Drinking and eating because a man says so. This is what I'd expect a young female to react. Taking a woman anywhere you want against her will is NOT romantic. And the kiss...grossest thing I've ever had to watch! I watched this movie hoping she'd say something a married mother would say, you know, "who tf do you think you are?" If the guy was attractive, it might've worked. I guess they think any man with a French accent can sleep with any American woman. I've never left a review on a movie before until now because this was beyond terrible.
