Kinda annoying one.

great film, great performances. I totally recomend this movie.

horsanjed - I read this because of your comment. Wow, great book!!

Now this is hard for me. Great director, great actors and still I was not overwhelmed by it. You could ask: how is that possible? I will try to explain. My mother language is not English and when my English was acceptable I was about 15-16 years old then I tried to read books in original English. You can guess, yes...my first serious English languaged book (after fairy tales and children stories) was William Wharton's Birdy. Now I became simply obsessed by this book and not a year passes by that I do not read it at least once. I am sure that because this obsessio I do not like the film very much because scenes that are so important for me are not even mentioned in the film. Of course, you cannot put everything in a film that is in the book beause it would be minimum nine hours long. So if you did not read the book, go and see the film, I think you may like it but if you did read it then do not wonder if you may be disappointed...

THANK YOU YTS!

One of my favourite 80's films. Brilliant acting from Modine & Cage. A must-see
