Plot summary

After "The Poseidon Adventure", in which the ship got flipped over by a tidal wave, the ship drifts bottom-up in the sea. While the passengers are still on board waiting to be rescued, two rivaling salvage parties enter the ship on search for money, gold and a small amount of plutonium.

Geez, was there ever a part that Michael Caine turned down? He's in THIS PoS? OK, Sally Field and the other B-list hacks, I can see, but Michael Caine was this desperate for a paycheck?

Awful, unnecessary sequel, Dumb, campy, and cheap looking

Awful, unnecessary sequel, Dumb, campy, and cheap looking, With lousy fx, a lousy score, and lots of footage from previous movie, Most of budget spent hiring top tier cast, That said, Michael Caine anchors this movie, and brings commitment to his role, Sally Field, sadly gives one her most embarassing performances, But kudos to the costume dept for at least, dressing her in tight pants, and a top that shows off her toned stomach and body, I also enjoyed the added eye candy provided by Veronica Hamel, And kudos to Irwin Allen for hiring his Lost In Space star, Angela Cartwright, looking soooo pretty,
