Utterly unfounded. Any one with the slightest knowledge of business and business law can tell you that Herbalife is in no way, shape, or form, a pyramid scheme. In fact, there is more graft, greed, and misappropriations in hedge funds than in Herbalife. Of course, it's easy to throw stones, make accusations, and lie with statistics. It's a lot more difficult to provide proof and Herbalife has beaten any number of court cases trying to do what Ted Braun is doing in the court of public opinion. I'd like to see him try this in a court of law where it would really make a difference.

Pyramid schemes make money soley by recruitment. An MLM like Herbalife makes money by recruitment and products. Adding the products legitimizes it. But the differences between the two are pretty thin.
