How this movie made me feel in one

How this movie made me feel in one word: Bemused. What a unique film. It's strange, quirky, funny, kind of boring at times, and just completely original. A handful of the jokes made me laugh, but overall it just was an average film. Best Character: Buck Laughlin Best Quote: "We have so much in common, we both love soup and snow peas, we love the outdoors, and talking and not talking. We could not talk or talk forever and still find things to not talk about." - Sherri Best Scene: The Nut Scene Note: The quip that Cookie has been with 1000's of people is hilarious. Note 2: Gerry & Cookie Fleck are the complete opposite of Johnny and Moira Rose.

Best in Show is an amazing mockumentary that perfectly captures the awkward charm and quiet absurdity of its world. The film thrives on its dry humor and improvisational style, making the characters feel both ridiculous and oddly real at the same time. What really makes it stand out is how natural the comedy feels. Instead of relying on big punchlines, it builds humor through subtle moments, awkward interactions, and brilliantly timed reactions. The ensemble cast works seamlessly together, creating a series of memorable personalities without ever feeling forced. It’s also surprisingly sharp in how it observes human behavior, turning something simple into something consistently funny and engaging. Overall, it’s a near-perfect comedy that holds up extremely well. I’d rate it a 10/10—smart, hilarious, and one of the best mockumentaries ever made.
