Plot summary

Newly married couple, Greg and Joy Lawson, move into their home in the suburbs and are warmly welcomed by their neighbors, one of whom, Becky, takes a dangerous interest in Greg. While Joy is away, they spend an intimate moment together, orchestrated by Becky, and then they agree to keep their distance. But she inserts herself into every aspect of his life, wreaking havoc on his marriage and potential job until the final explosive confrontation.

Boooooo!!!

Absolute garbage. I started off prepared for it to be wack but not this wack. I'm almost twenty-five minutes into the movie and it is nauseating. The over-acting is way too much. None of the scenes are believable whatsoever. Becky looking at another woman's husband up and down at the first introduction just wreaks of cringe. It is literally stomach-turning. The acting is low mid, at best. I wasn't expecting an academy award winning performance from anyone but I did expect something somewhat decent to watch. I did not get that here. If you want to kill time with an overacted C- movie that you won't believe actually made it through production, then give this one a chance.

Low Budget Film "Becky"

The low budget film "Becky" directed by Milton and exhibited in 2024 was a great film to watch if you like low budget mild movies. Becky was not too intense or violent. The blood and props were fake enough to know that the movie was not real. Some profanity is used and body parts are shown but no nudity.Movies that are just believable, but not believable are a great source of inspiration for myself. I watched this movie with my mother in her room. I was thrilled and "on the edge of my seat." I enjoy watching these types of movies. My father is a long-time videographer. I hope I can find the inspiration to make my own movie or be apart of a production one day.

Nothing outstanding...

Of course I had never even heard about this 2024 psychological thriller titled "Becky", from writer and director Justin Milton, prior to stumbling upon by random chance it here in 2026. And since I hadn't already seen it, and had the chance to do so, of course I opted to check it out. Sure, I have to admit that I wasn't really harboring the biggest of expectations.The storyline in "Becky" was pretty straightforward, though somewhat generic and formulaic. And that sort of made it a bit bland and predictable. So writer Justin Milton, whom also directed the movie, didn't exactly deliver an outstanding thriller experience here.While I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list, it was actually something that spoke in favor of the movie, as I do enjoy watching new and unfamiliar talents on the screen. The acting performances in the movie were fair."Becky" is a sort of watchable and fair enough movie, but hardly one that warrants more than a single viewing.My rating of writer and director Justin Milton's 2024 movie "Becky" lands on a generous four out of ten stars.
