Plot summary

This movie had an unrealistic plot and wasn't

This movie had an unrealistic plot and wasn't easy to watch. My wife and I cringed a lot but stayed with it to the end. There are many problems. He doesn't ask her name until about the third time they'd been on "dates". She's too pretty and her teeth are too perfect to have been on the street for any length of time. He wouldn't fall for a girl like her in a city like Los Angelos. The whole movie is just too improbable. Almost comedic. I won't go on in case you want to watch it but there are better movies to spend your time on.

What if and what if not, that's the questionable premise of this movie

So in this movie, we got a psychologist who couldn't face his loss and fell into depression. This premise of the screenplay has inevitably given me some problem of the logic. A psychologist is supposed to treat his patients' personal psychologic problems. He's the so-called "Head Shrink", so he must have all the knowledge of the ways and means to solve the psychologic problems, which usually and mostly related to depression, and he couldn't deal with his own depression and tried to solve it? If he's so depressed and couldn't cure his own psychologic problem, did he need to find other psychologist to treat his depression? The whole scenario of this movie just gave me a very funny feeling since the premises seemed to be a bit weird.
