Mayim Bialik playing young Bette Midler is amazing. She's able to be as loud, brash and out-spoken as The Devine Ms. M. If you think she's a 70+ Old "Ghetto Snipe", you are absolutely correct! She has been outspoken and say her mind since she wasn't one! I never liked this movie. But My Mother loved it! Thanks for the upload. She passed a few years back, and watching this was like hearing her laugh again.

Bette Midler is imo not the best looking actress, but thru her characters she proved that good acting is something more than appearance. Worth a watch or 2.
