Plot summary

A young pilot, fresh out of training, is called to join a Flight while they wait for the call to scramble. Throughout a single day, he witnesses the skies of southern England filled with deadly dog fights, and after every exhausting battle the men return to their dispersal hut, only to find another of their number missing. Unwilling to surrender, the pilot and his comrades unite to take to the skies once more, determined to defend not only the airfield, but their entire country.

Brilliant film true to the story how the

Brilliant film true to the story how the pilots got on with thefight even tho they where tired and exhausted. Sad ending but loved how the young officer took charge once his new recruit came in showed really leadership.

A fair attempt to portray the horrors faced

A fair attempt to portray the horrors faced by ‘The Few’ during the desperate summer of 1940. Aerial CGI sequences convincing enough. However, as with Lancaster Skies, why is Callum Burn permanently unshaven? Also saluting protocol - head dress needs to be worn by both superior and subordinate in UK Armed Forces! Any military advisor would insist on getting such basics right!
