Flawed but Great (12,303- 28 Feb 2026) When the small-time thief Lino uses a Clio he had modified to invade a jewelry shop with his stepbrother Quentin, he is not able to stop the car, crosses four walls and is arrested. Det.Charas, from the Ani-Drug Dept., invites him to serve his sentence in the police garage to increase the power of the police cars. When they go to a junkyard, the dirty Det. Areski arrives with his partner Marco and kills Charas. They accuse Lino of the murder and Areski asks the gangsters to burn his car. Now Lino is on the run chased by the police. "Balle perdue", a.k.a." Lost Bullet" (2020) is a great French action-crime film by Guillaume Pierret. Unfortunately, there are at least three great flaws. Why Lino tells Areski that he would bring Charas’ car to the police garage? What happened to the dirty Marco? Why did Julia not tell Moss what happened when she is interrogated by her boss? My vote is seven. Title (Brazil): "Bala Perdida" ("Lost Bullet")

The action is propulsive and over the top

The action is propulsive and over the top. But to enjoy it you have to ignore a plot full of holes and protagonists making nonsensical decisions.
