Plot summary

Monica is desperate to be prom queen, but on the big night, her hair is an uncontrollable mess. Meanwhile, FBI agent Liz Morgan is on the hunt for a jewel thief who is looking for a stolen necklace, which Monica has in her possession. Soon, she and the agent chase the jewel thief, and she's whizzed on a wild adventure in the city.

**When it's a long day filled with a series problems, but a short day to fix them all.** The 96th Disney Channel Original Movie. I am watching it quite late, because I'm not a regular follower of the Disney Channel films, but have seen many of them and I had enjoyed. Surely the target audience for this is the kids and mostly the girls. But I liked it as well. The story wise, it is simple like just one day event. A high school girl preparing for the prom night, wakes up in the morning, finds her hair got messed up. Now she has to fix it and the problem is the appointment in the saloon and how to reach there since she has no vehicle or the license. There's another side of the story. A pretended cop joins her in the quest in return a favour. So it's not just girl stuff, there are some actions. Running, chasing, theft, boyfriend trouble, the films have all the ingredient to enjoy the whole 90 minutes. Good casting and the performances, but I find some comedies are so silly. For a television and aiming for minors, everything looks fair. Just because we're being adult, we expect realism. If you throw away your that mindset while watching it, you would surely have a nice time. My rating might look only a just above average, but that's not how I felt. This is a nice film, like most of the DCOM. So go for it. _6/10_

Surprisingly good...

Right, well I have to be honest and say that I harbored zero expectations to the 2015 movie "Bad Hair Day" when I sat down to watch it. Sure, I had never heard about it, but it being a family comedy movie from Disney didn't really get my hopes up. Yet, I opted to watch the movie, as I had never heard about it, and thus gave it a fair chance.And color me impressed and entertained. Writers Matt Eddy, Billy Eddy, Eric M. Gardner and Steven H. Wilson actually put together a script and storyline that catered to both a young adult and adult audience at the same time. I was genuinely surprised with the contents of the script, and how entertaining and enjoyable it actually was.I was not familiar with the cast ensemble in the movie, but I will say that leading actresses Laura Marano and Leigh-Allyn Baker carried the movie quite well. I was especially impressed with Leigh-Allyn Baker's performance as the character Liz, because she made me laugh a lot throughout the course of the movie."Bad Hair Day" turned out to be an enjoyable and watchable movie, and not the childish rubbish that I was expecting from Disney. And I will say that the movie is actually well-worth checking out. I was genuinely and wholeheartedly entertained throughout the course of the 87 minutes that the movie ran for.My rating of director Erik Canuel's 2015 movie "Bad Hair Day" lands on a six out of ten stars.
