Plot summary

On the run after dispatching her rapist, homemaker Ellen flees to the Big City, where further misfortunes befall her. When she finally finds stability, she discovers that her landlady's son is a detective, threatening her newfound identity and peace of mind.

Another Wishman classic. I think she would have

Another Wishman classic. I think she would have been better off ignoring her artistic pretensions and just concentrate on the T & A.

Falls into the "it's so bad, it's good

Falls into the "it's so bad, it's good" category. So low budget that a seeming majority of the film is stock footage of New York City skyline, traffic, trees, ponds, ducks, sometimes with voiceover, sometimes not. Doris Wishman gets away with as much nudity as film codes of mid-60s allowed, which makes sense since earlier she made nudist films, then afterward made pornos. I couldn't help but think of the legendary Russ Meyer as I watched it.
