I loved it so much that it made

I loved it so much that it made me finally get into silent films, especially to better immerse myself in the era the film takes place in. I can agree it could've been shorter and some "gross" scenes were unnecessary, but the pros outweigh the cons for me.

This film had me in a constant meh

This film had me in a constant meh... wow... meh... wow... meh... cycle. In the end I really enjoyed it. I think for someone not very interested in cinema or art, the best parts of the film would be lost and you would be left with a very unmemorable film. Jack Connolly's character holds the key to the story and I loved the Bauhaus colours callback in the ending. Music was remarkable.

Babylon is the kind of movie Hollywood rarely

Babylon is the kind of movie Hollywood rarely makes anymore. Damien Chazelle delivers a fearless, wildly ambitious vision of the film industry's early years, creating a chaotic, exhilarating spectacle that never seems interested in playing it safe. Whether viewers love it or hate it, the sheer audacity is impossible to ignore. Margot Robbie is phenomenal as Nellie LaRoy, bringing energy, charisma, and unpredictability to every scene. Brad Pitt delivers some of his finest work in years, while Diego Calva provides the emotional anchor that keeps the madness grounded. The cinematography, production design, editing, and Justin Hurwitz's phenomenal score are all exceptional. At over three hours, the film can feel indulgent, and some sequences linger well past their natural endpoint. The constant excess occasionally becomes exhausting. Even so, Babylon remains a bold, technically brilliant celebration and critique of Hollywood's chaotic history.
