Until then, your opinion is not the world's opinion. Box office revenues is the world's opinion. It's called capitalism. If it sells, they make more of it. If the world is sick of it, they don't. I've been to Dachau and other death camps. There are thousands of photos and artifacts and the ovens were still well preserved. You can still smell the sickly sweet odor of burning human flesh after all these years.
