Plot summary

I loved this movie. It gets existential given

I loved this movie. It gets existential given that we are at war and all, of course, but the humor throughout is balanced extremely well. Not to spoil much, but the plot involves a situation where everyone is in a deployment scenario, and the lines between reality and fantasy get blurred. The leading actors Alia Shawkat and Callum Turner each gave great performances. I fell in love with Callum Turner in this role. Alia Shawkat has always impressed me with her range in comedy and acting, but I was most impressed with how she carried the role of the main character in this film. I personally loved the ending, loved how it stuck with me, and I'd recommend this to anyone who's not pro-war, which is (hopefully) most people. 5/5
