For me, this is THE BEST sci-fi film there is. Those of you that don't see the absolute genius in this movie are not thinking about it as deeply as they should. As others have mentioned here, if there was to be a visit, this is (as far as our puny human brains can muster) probably what it would look like. Our perception of reality is so primitive and so ego driven it's pathetic. As an example, there are shrimp that live in water that is almost 4 miles deep and 750 degrees F. The pressure and temperature are unimaginable. Yet they thrive. There are creatures on this planet that interpret the world using completely different senses then we do. Imagine an intelligent creature that lives in, say boiling mercury on a distant planet. Life can be so crazy different than what we expect. We all expect what will visit us to walk on two legs and have eyes and ears. It's ridiculous! It's probably certain that life from elsewhere will not be like us in any way. This movie is so freakin good, so freakin cool and most of all so freakin SMART!

What an amazing movie! Totally changed my perspective on what sci-fi movies really are

Those who call it boring must be 'Michael bay' fans. A real sci-fi film, not these action flicks that would be called sci fi just because they said 8 science terms. It's like shawshank redemption. You can feel this movie.

Masterpiece

This movie is a master piece.

This movie is almost two hours long but it got me so involved that I thought it was too short... I wanted to see more, know more... Thanks YTS! It's a great movie!

This movie is a masterpiece. It ridicules the other's in its genre and drags them on the floor. Yes, it is not for everyone. If you expect to see green men and explosive action this will not be for you. If you are interested in how an actual event would happen and turn out, this is the movie. Do go with an open mind and a lot of popcorn as it is quite slow, however it never disappoints. The music is on point, the cinematography is beautiful. It makes all other movies in this genre seem like a satire of this one. However we are not here to flame, just give it your most honest shoot! Also thanks for uploading it Freeman!

Some of these people who have commented that his movie is way too boring doesn't really get the entirety of the movie. For me, the movie's pacing might be slow but at the end it will show you mind blowing results that will sum up all of those little pieces you have gathered.

This will movie will make you ask questions a LOT and that's why stupid people called that this is a boring movie but when you follow the story and predict the answer to the question it's kinda fun and when you already in the final part of the movie it will blow your mind what is the right answer to that question.
