Plot summary

On a cross country road trip to rob his home town bank Prince Mccoy finds himself having to rely on the help of an ex convict hitchhiker named Carl Robbins. Along the way the people they meet and the friendships they build begin to heal the ghosts of their pasts. However, they both have one final crossroad to face in the small town of Apple Seed.

Wonderful, easygoing film with Rance Howard (Ron and

Wonderful, easygoing film with Rance Howard (Ron and Clint's father) as an ex-con going cross-country to make amends with the people in his life. Clint Howard and Robby Benson have short pivotal roles as his son and ex-con apprentice, respectively, and they're top-drawer in their roles. This is one I want to own on DVD

I heard about this movie from an interview

I heard about this movie from an interview with Clint Howard. It's my understanding that Rance Howard more or less gave up his dream of becoming an actor to raise his family. I'm glad I watched that interview and I'm equally glad I watched this movie. Excellent movie and Rance is an excellent actor. May I also say, he raised an excellent family!!!

What a find. Beautiful road trip movie. Rance Howard's role of a lifetime. A poignant treasure of a film. Michael Worth knocks it out of the park as writer, director, and star. Wonderful soundtrack too, with originals that fit each moment perfectly. This movie is like a cinematic back massage.
