The lighting is over saturated, the acting is questionable. There were some redeeming scenes but they were certainly the minority. The entire movie was just unnecessarily long (over 2 hours) and predictable. Also why were there so many damn city drone stock footage shots?? Definitely a creative choice.

Wow!!!!!!!! Wow! I just watched Angel and Demon on Tubi, and it was a great movie. The cast delivered strong performances, bringing real emotion to a story filled with love, betrayal, murder, gang life, and the constant threat of violence. The plot felt believable and intense, with shootings and street conflicts adding to the realism without feeling overdone. It kept my attention from beginning to end and never got boring.

Angel and Demon is a film that attempts to blend crime drama with character-driven storytelling, but it ultimately struggles to find a consistent tone or maintain audience engagement. The movie centers on Angel, a young woman, and her entanglement with Demon, a gang-affiliated character, as well as the police navigating the criminal world. The premise has potential, touching on themes of loyalty, morality, and survival within a gritty environment. Unfortunately, the execution falls short in several critical areas. One of the primary issues is the screenplay. While the story has moments of intrigue, the writing is uneven, with abrupt shifts in focus and inconsistent pacing. Certain plot threads feel underdeveloped, leaving viewers with questions about character motivations and narrative logic. The dialogue occasionally comes off as forced or unnatural, which further detracts from immersion. The film's production design also shows its low-budget limitations. Police uniforms and props often look fake, and some scenes lack the polish that would help ground the story in a believable reality. These visual shortcomings make it difficult for the audience to fully invest in the world the film is trying to create.Casting is another weak point. Some actors deliver competent performances, particularly in moments of emotional intensity, but others appear unconvincing, struggling with line delivery or emotional expression. This unevenness affects key scenes, making it harder to empathize with the characters or feel tension during pivotal moments.Despite these flaws, the film has its merits. It manages to maintain a basic level of engagement and provides a glimpse into gang dynamics and the challenges faced by law enforcement. Certain interactions between Angel and Demon feel genuine, and the attempt to explore moral ambiguity adds some depth. However, the inconsistencies in story, casting, and production ultimately prevent Angel and Demon from achieving its full potential. For viewers interested in low-budget crime dramas, it's watchable but not particularly memorable, offering a mixed experience that balances effort with noticeable shortcomings.
