Plot summary

At the edge of Iceland’s Reykjanes peninsula, two women’s lives will intersect – for a brief moment – while trapped in circumstances unforeseen. Outstanding performances here along with taut, smart writing

Outstanding performances here along with taut, smart writing. This is a well-made snapshot of how bureaucratic systems filter human beings into numbers, data, something to fill a cell or halfway house. Butit also shows how the humanity of those who see the glaring flaws in such insular, overtly inhumane systems can act to correct injustices, or just subvert them for the greater good. 3.4 stars
