You all seem to forget that Nader destroyed the small car industry in America, His "unsafe at any speed" supposed expose of the Chevrolet Corvair was total bulls--t. Having owned one of these cars for years, I loved it. If you didn't know any better, one would maybe think that Nader was paid off to ruin this nations attempt at making small cars. As it turned out, the major car companies went back to big gas guzzling beasts, and as long as fuel was cheap, no problem, but that did not last for long. Japan, Korea, Europe all got on the bandwagan and started building these cars, Look to the money, follow the money, Nader is no hero.
