I'm typically an easy mark for these types

I'm typically an easy mark for these types of stop motion animated Christmas shorts. But this one misses the mark. The main character, a young owl named Moon, relies too much on her cuteness for her likability. She is disobedient, easily distracted and makes very dumb decisions. The rules of their world are poorly defined. The conflict is resolved in a ludicrously simple way. And the character learns nothing from her journey. But it's cardboard aesthetic is cute. And little kids will enjoy it well enough.

sweet, but too short...wanted more...fell in love with the owl, but what about luna? her story never resolved...top-notch stop motion and wonderful character designs
