Plot summary

I just loved how incredibly Emile Hirsch played

I just loved how incredibly Emile Hirsch played the role of Rubino. Representing a killer so realistically is very hard but he managed to do it perfectly, which is even scary in some way. The movie and the part could not fit him more in order to highlight how much talent he has.

American Night (2021) is a stylish and visually striking debut. The film looks fantastic — full of bold colors, dramatic lighting, and a strong noir feel that makes it fun to watch. Jonathan Rhys Meyers is convincing as the quiet, thoughtful art dealer, Emile Hirsch brings energy and intensity, and Paz Vega is both elegant and magnetic. The story can feel a little overloaded at times, but the cast and atmosphere keep it engaging. Definitely recommended if you enjoy beautiful, original cinematography and films that leave you with a strong visual impression.

Brilliant! Fresh take on high stakes players of dangerous games. Very intelligently written and brought to screen. Great cinematography and visually stunning. Whole cast excels in character, Emile Hirsch notably so. Lots of webs, action, drama, dealings, suspense, twists, emotion and intrigue. Fashionable and enough swagger. Very entertaining and memorable
