Plot summary

Plagued by the abuse of her past and the turmoil of failed intimate encounters, Laura struggles to find a lover and a sense of normalcy. Her beacon of hope comes in sixteen year-old Eva, a talented pianist disillusioned by the life her mother imposes upon her. An unlikely relationship is formed between the two and Eva becomes an obsession to Laura. In light of Eva's unhappiness, Laura convinces her to runaway to her house and they soon find themselves caught within an intense entanglement. Manipulation, denial and codependency fuel what ultimately becomes a fractured dynamic that can only sustain itself for so long.

This movie provides good imagery and intense sentiments

This movie provides good imagery and intense sentiments from a nonsensical script. In the opening scene a man enters a house through an open door, finds and puts on himself a blindfold and then has sex with the female protagonist who is dominating him. We never see him again, until half way through the movie. In the meantime we get acquainted with the female lead who is an accountant in her father’s business, but also cleans houses. In one of her houses she meets an anorexic looking adolescent girl who has a minor disagreement with her mother and like that, decides to abandon her mother, school, all her life and move with the cleaner, who apparently is bisexual. The relationship works until it doesn’t. The end. At points this is painful to watch. With a better script the Sanchez brothers could make a good movie. On Tubi.

don't watch this movie unless you want your face to be scrunched like a raisin from cringing. just another fake deep movie that doesn't really make any real sense. or any sense at all. it was really bad.

Evan Rachel Wood is convincing as a perpetrator....a difficult movie to watch, however many good movies are.
