To all those arguing over when a decade starts, the definition of decade reads : a period of ten years beginning with a year ending in 0. For those interested in a review: It is at best a middling production. Those that feel strong nostalgia for the 80's (1980-1989, not 1981-1990) will probably enjoy it more than others

Instead of a film review, we've got a bunch of nerds arguing about the semantics of time descriptors from the synopsis. If I rolled my eyes any harder, they'd probably fall out of my head...

@karlpopper Actually the 21st century started on January 1st, 2001. You are all making the same mistake.

There is no "year zero", boys. Go ahead, ask your phone. Your basic calendar skills are off cause you're confusing ACTUAL calendar years, with an arbitrary category of a "decade". Which is just as valid as counting years in dozens. Or threes.

FYI 1999 is the last year of the decade, century, and millennium, and 2000 is the first year. Not sure how someone could mix that up.
