This is by no means a waste of time. It is a fun, whimsical, engaging story about kids doing their best, with parents interfering with their duty to protect the planet. The writing is ok, the casting great, the directing and effects certainly good enough.

I really didn’t enjoy Aliens in the Attic

I really didn’t enjoy Aliens in the Attic. It tries to be a fun family sci-fi comedy, but it ends up feeling more annoying than entertaining. The humor is overly childish and repetitive, making it hard to stay engaged for long. Even with a cast that includes Ashley Tisdale, the characters feel flat and uninteresting, and there’s not much development to keep you invested. The CGI and alien designs also feel dated and don’t add much excitement. There are a few moments that might work for younger audiences, but overall it just doesn’t come together. I’d give it a 2/10—it’s forgettable, messy, and not nearly as fun as it should have been.

Classic! Critics are too used to films with a darker tone to appreciate a film simply being fun! This movie is the perfect hangout movie. You can watch it at anytime and feel instantly better!
