Plot summary

Albert Fish, the horrific true story of elderly cannibal, sadomasochist, and serial killer, who lured children to their deaths in Depression-era New York City. Distorting biblical tales, Albert Fish takes the themes of pain, torture, atonement and suffering literally as he preys on victims to torture and sacrifice.

Absolutely no redeeming value for the blatant gore

absolutely no redeeming value for the blatant gore, religious sacrilege, unbridled filth...and the occasional sympathy expressed by the equally challenged death shoppe owner. after spending a lifetime studying serial killers and their psyches, this film is the only one, of hundreds, that I found completely useless and sheer violence propaganda. don't waste your time. Fish was nothing except for a pathological liar. what a shame. surely this could have been informative, not glorifying.

It definitely does too many reenactments and performance

It definitely does too many reenactments and performance art pieces for my liking but it still is a fascinating documentary about one fcked up serial killer

This was one of the worst serial killer

This was one of the worst serial killer documentaries I've seen. The reenactments were disturbing, but not because they felt gory or real or scary... They were just really nasty... Like someone like Fish could watch it to get off... I didn't want to keep watching after that, especially since the scene was supposedly depicting an underage boy. It was gross and seriously unnecessary. It wasn't shown as suffering. Also, the "expert" was just a collector who happened to steal a letter by the killer. This guy obviously admires the killer and feels nothing for his victims. It's just not worth watching.
