Plot summary

In 2046, many aspects of life are carried out on a virtual network. No matter how advanced the time becomes, however, bullying never disappears. Haruyuki is one of the bullied students. However, one day he is contacted by Kuroyukihime, the most famous person in the school. "Wouldn't you like to 'accelerate' and go further ahead, boy?" Haruyuki is introduced to the "Accel World" and decides to fight as Kuroyukihime's knight.

I was wondering why this felt like a

I was wondering why this felt like a Reader's Digest version of an entire series and now I know. The reason is it's because it is a reader's digest version of an entire series. As it happened again, they "Voyage Into Space" this by cutting episodes of a show into a movie. But the problem with that it leaves out vital parts of character development and story I'm not calling the series bad, I haven't seen it. But if you're only going by a this movie with Frankensteined bits and pieces you won't like it.

I Can Only Give Half Points Because They Only Gave Us Half A Movie!

If you've watched the series first, which, if you haven't, you have NO place watching an anime movie FIRST! At LEAST look at the release dates before you watch something!! LOL!! Anyhow, the first 45 minutes are for those ignorant enough to watch the more recently released movie, and only the last 45ish minutes are actual new content with fresh storyline, BUT, I've watched the series, all 24 episodes, and I'm even super confused, because they were referencing storyline, and there were characters I'd never seen before! It was bewildering.
