Plot summary

When 4 mercenaries and 2 80's mall-rat girls

When 4 mercenaries and 2 80's mall-rat girls go in search of an abandoned island in Central/South America, one that American scientists, long ago, were conducting experiments to find the cure for cancer, which in turn, pissed off a local Voodoo priest, who in turn, performed a ritual that raised the dead, killing everyone on the island. What could go wrong? If you love 80's Italian B-Rated cheese, then this one is for you. Did you know that the director claims to not have known that he hired adult film star Jeff Stryker until long after the film was complete? In the film credits he is billed as Chuck Peyton. There's lots of good things to say about this film. The cinematography is good, the music is good, the pace is good, and there's lots of blood and flesh ripping. Now I didn't say "great" I say "good." It's no Dawn of the Dead, but it's also not Zombie Lake. It's a "fast" zombie film, I know for some, this is an important item to know. It ends as all great horror movies should end, but tend not to. There's no out of place romance to screw with the pace and emotional authenticity of the situation. And lastly, there is an actual plot to this one. As a zombie lover, it's a favorite of mine. Give it a look.
