Terrific saucy British 70s comedy....one of the better of a long line of Adventures Of... & Confessions Of... films. They are silly, irreverent & just plain-right fun!! Always full of the stars of the age, this one in particular has a stellar cast. I simply MELT for Barry Evans (SUCH a tragic ending to his life...still makes me sad to think of). Anyway, see it, don't expect too much, &, above all, have fun!!!

A couple of moments are very ropey by today's standards - such as the bit with the suicidal girl - but this isn't completely abject. It raises a titter and even as a social document it's interesting. Not without it's curiosities either - Stephen Lewis, playing a carbon copy of Blakey from On The Buses makes a cameo appearances as does the daughter of Ingmar Bergman. It was never going to win prizes, and tails off towards the end, but I've seen far better actors in films far worse than Adventures of a Taxi Driver.
