With all the problems this one hour movie

with all the problems this one hour movie encountered, i am still fixated on how they had electricity when there wasn’t want electricity. i mean was that a battery run projector that he used to uncover the mysterious history of the town? why was there a fan in the old church and how was it running? that would have freaked me out more than the ghosts! finally i was also intrigued by this he seemingly self cleaning hatchet. despite there being a brutal murder in the first minutes of this movie, there was just one tiny drop on the blade throughout. that would be a highly coveted item by serial murderers everywhere.
