Plot summary

A miracle occurs for a homeless family consisting of two wayward children and their protective aunt with the help of an angel. When a young woman's niece and nephew are threatened with foster care after her sister is hospitalized following yet another overdose, she flees with them until they land in the sleepy town of Bethlehem just before Christmas and a series of kindnesses and coincidences gives the trio a chance at happiness.

This is my number one favorite Christmas movie

This is my number one favorite Christmas movie. It’s a drama with big heart. The story is sweet and heartfelt. I’m a lover of Christmas movies and I watch too many every year. This movie was a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie when it first aired. I wish Hallmark would bring it back, this truly is a movie of distinction. The story follows a woman trying to keep her niece and nephew safe from foster care. She retreats to a small town where she’s is welcomed and the children thrive. Patty Duke is an angel that guides them on their journey. It has a happy ending of course, tissues are a necessity. Highly recommend.

As Christmas movies go, I think this one

As Christmas movies go, I think this one of the better ones. Is it believable ?. Depends on what you want from a holiday movie. A drama with Patty Duke as an angel, and of course redemption for the down-n-outers. Good family entertainment.
