Plot summary

In order to earn her trust fund, Evie is tasked with granting Christmas wishes to the people who saved her life on the night of her birth. To aid in her cause, she employs Kyle, a handsome local attorney, to track down those who helped and attempts to secretly learn what they might want while maintaining her anonymity. With Christmas fast approaching, the heiress and the attorney can't resist falling for each other's charms as they ramp up their gift giving efforts. But as time ticks down, will she be able to accomplish the mission and grant all of the wishes by Christmas Eve?

I loved it! It didn’t feel like the same old Hallmark movie script to me. I thought the acting was wonderful! Enjoy! Merry Christmas! ✨

This movie is the exact opposite of what

This movie is the exact opposite of what a Christmas film should be. The whole premise is forcing a spoiled rich heiress to “do good” just to secure her trust fund—completely undermining the meaning of generosity. Worse, when the lawyer finds out she’s only doing it for money, he seems to like her more! It’s hard to root for anyone in this story, which feels like a tone-deaf celebration of entitlement. If this is supposed to inspire holiday cheer, it completely misses the mark. Skip it.

This movie could have been so much better

This movie could have been so much better with a few minor changes. First, and foremost, the main character is a unlikable a lead as a perusing could be. She comes across as unlikeable and vapid. How can we root for someone we just don't like? Secondly, making it main plot line all about the money. A simple line from her mother during that conversation prior to the climax, clarifying that it was never really about the money, would have charged the whole dynamic. The mother could have said she used the money as a ruse to get her daughter there, but the real prize was meeting the people and learning that for as cold and hard as the world seems to be at times, goodness does exist.
