The full story of Chicago's West Side made it into this real and complicated triumph. It was honest, elegant, inspiring, truthful, painful, deep and light. The music is exceptional. The photography is skilled and beautiful. Sound editing alone deserves an Oscar. The creator gave this story its full due and time. You don't feel like you're in a documentary. You are wrapped in the story and when it ends, you just have to keep on going in it. Out of 100, this movie deserves 105.

This movie captures some of the "most beautiful

This movie captures some of the "most beautiful things" about this sport, the comradery you share with those in your boat, the peacefulness of being on the water, and how you can be years or decades from having rowed but you will always be a rower. Could watch this movie over and over again! Well done!
