Plot summary

With only one week to prepare, Mia Pearson and her family of party planners are given the biggest job in their company’s history: a New Year’s Eve party for tech entrepreneur Kate Clark. But when her brother breaks his leg and her parents head off on a planned vacation, Lisa must reluctantly enlist the help of her brother’s visiting college buddy, David Campos, to help her pull off the event which just so happens to fall on her favorite day of the year. But what Lisa didn’t plan on was falling in love in the process.

We both did not like the movie. Very

We both did not like the movie. Very superficial. Lots of things based on looks and beauty. No depth. Very surprised we both thought this and both did not want to finish the movie, but we did.

Wanted to like it, but lacks punch

There's nothing terribly wrong with this movie, Adelaide Kane is gorgeous and, unlike what's seems to be the norm in romance movies, the male lead is not a plank of wood.The only problem is that nothing serious is at stake, nothing for us to root for the leads to accomplish. Sorry movie, but having beautiful people on screen is a necessary but not sufficient condition.

Its Cute

I think the reviews are really harsh. Its a typical Hallmark film. I don't think Carlos was bad I just think he felt awkward being around another woman honestly. Him and Alexa are really open about their marriage and do literally everything together. Adelaide has done Major Major work so seeing her in a Hallmark film does throw you off. Carlos comes off more Comedian hence the show Big Time Rush so seeing him in Romance films might throw people off also. But I liked it, it was cute. Honestly I think all Christmas movies come off a bit cheesy but that's kind of the point. As cheesy as they are I enjoy them all lol.
