Plot summary

Recently separated, Kate hopes to celebrate one last perfect family Christmas with her soon-to-be ex-husband Everett and their kids before their divorce is final and the house is sold. But her holiday plans are hilariously derailed when Everett unexpectedly brings his younger, successful new girlfriend.

A Merry Little Ex-Mas was... okay, I guess

A Merry Little Ex-Mas was... okay, I guess? Like, it’s one of those Christmas movies where the exes get stuck together during the holidays and obviously end up back together by the end. Super predictable, but whatever, I knew that going in. The writing felt kinda lazy. Half the jokes fell flat, and the whole "we broke up for dumb reasons" thing got old fast. Also, way too many side characters that didn’t really matter. I kept checking my phone halfway through.
