Plot summary
David, a robotic boy—the first of his kind programmed to love—is adopted as a test case by a Cybertronics employee and his wife. Though he gradually becomes their child, a series of unexpected circumstances make this life impossible for David.

One of my best movie of all time!
If you want me to believe that a robot can experience emotions you better work your ass off making a coherent, complex and credible explanation. The comprehension we have of our brain and psyche is still in its infancy, and simplistic explanations in this kind of movies, at least to me, are a turn off from the very beginning. I can no longer "believe" the story. Having said that, the robot performances are very good although the overall plot felt more fantastic than sci-fi.

Fuck this movie. Made me cry like a stuck-up cheerleader going through her first breakup. Spielberg truly is a master at playing with emotions.
