I'm giving this three stars because the story is very nice and it's family oriented Christian content. The acting is not very good. Think the two exceptions would be Jesse and his dad and Jesse's girlfriend; the rest of the actors were just hard to watch especially Lucy, her mom, and John. What's most frustrating is the way that the movie ended so spoiler alert! But to have go through the story with a Christmas theme and have it end when he found the children but not wrap it up with the party for all the orphans it just was so abrupt. They could have taken another 3 minutes to do that!

I got sucked in because of the story, but I wish that I had just skipped it.

As far as the Welcome to Hope TV series, I was so upset when season two launched without the main characters from season one; Jesse and his girlfriend. They really didn't do a good job of wrapping up the storylines from season one. I see that season two ended after only five episodes that's likely because no one was interested in the new storylines or possibly, they ran out of funds.
