A bit of country, a bit of magic, a lot of Christmas.

Fantastic performance by Nikki DeLoach. Believable and grounded. And Kristoffer Polaha adds charm and class to this Christmas romance. A unique story that brings you along for the ride, and the Opry setting is a pleasant change from the usual Hallmark. Well done time travel plot with sentiment that a lot of viewers can relate to.

Good

I'm a fan of Kris Polaha. He always makes everything he's in a little better. Here he's not really the focal point.I'm not really that big a fan of Nikki DeLoach, although I understand why people are.In this movie she and Polaha go back in time to try to discover what happened with her father thirty years prior (excellent performance by him, btw). The music was great, what there was of it. It helps if you like country music and its history. It was a little obvious who was really sing the duo's song.Overall, definitely the best of this year's crop so far.Seven.
