Plot summary

The original traditional one-hundred-percent red-blooded two-fisted all-American Christmas continues five years later with Ralphie, Randy, mom and the old man. This time Ralphie has his eyes fixed on a car. But trouble is sure to follow.

Better than the first movie, despite a few

Better than the first movie, despite a few problems. I do like the story better in this one, Daniel Stern is great in the role of the Old Man, the idea of having a teenage Ralphie is genius and the acting is tolerable for me compared to the original. However, most of the movie felt like a TV Pilot rather than a film, the camera quality looks like someone smeared Vaseline all over the camera lens, there are too many adult themes that make me question if this is a kids movie (despite being rated PG), The Old Man is more of the focus than Ralphie which made this film feel disconnected from its predecessor and the main storyline rips off from Good Burger.
