Plot summary

Miser Ebenezer Scrooge is awakened on Christmas Eve by spirits who reveal to him his own miserable existence, what opportunities he wasted in his youth, his current cruelties, and the dire fate that awaits him if he does not change his ways. Scrooge is faced with his own story of growing bitterness and meanness, and must decide what his own future will hold: death or redemption.

As someone whos only seen a play of this story, i thought this was a really solid adaptation, patrick stewart is a great actor and the supporting cast all were perfect. A welcome addition to any christmas lineup.

The ghost of Christmas past really ruined the

The ghost of Christmas past really ruined the vibe. Why was he scarier than the ghost of Christmases yet to come? Who gave him the makeup? The hair? He was so raggedy looking. And then the clerk. Why was he calling his wife "mother"? Vibes were off, man.

A fresh look on a classic. Beloved version

A fresh look on a classic. Beloved version with Sir Patrick Stewart. Saw it upon release on TNT in 1999. One of the best versions I have seen (I have seen 5 versions). 1984 version is pretty good considering an American played scrooge.
