Plot summary

After a family tragedy, Chuck Wilson hopes to start a new life in Ashland Falls with his wife Maria and little sister Elizabeth, but he quickly discovers that the town has a dark history of being haunted by a ghostly woman who drives residents to suicide.

825 Forest Road (2025) A Bad Movie (12,197 – 12 Jan 2026 – Claudio Carvalho) When the piano teacher Chuck (Joe Falcone) and his wife Maria (Elizabeth Vermilyea) see the huge house shown by the realtor Bonnie (Monica Fleurette) for an affordable price in Ashland Falls, they decide to buy it. Chuck’s sister Isabelle (Kathryn Miller) will live with them after the death of her mother in a car accident where Isabel was the driver. She is under therapy and has joined an university in the town. Soon weird things happen in the house and Chuck learns that the town is haunted by Helen Foster, a woman who died fifty years ago. "825 Forest Road" (2025) is a bad movie with an eerie atmosphere and a reasonable storyline. The plot has a promising beginning, but the rushed and ambiguous conclusion spoil the film. I am 4mins and 39secs in and it’s already awful. I’ll update this review if it changes because idk I’m bored and I’ll suffer through it and hope the story is better than the acting because it’s pretty awful so far. Update: 19:41 mins in and this movie is so bad idk if I’m even going to finish this. Waste of time. What’s crazy is Amazon prime gave this movie like a 4.1/5 stars lol… I’m wondering who’s giving the movies their star rating. Actually I’m not going to turn this off I’m probs just gonna fall asleep to it. Zzzzz

I cannot believe the poor reviews this film

I cannot believe the poor reviews this film has gotten. Far from incorporating tired tropes, the film presents its story from different perspectives, all of which add a new dimension of creepiness as the tale unfolds. I like very much the fact that the entire town accepts the reality of the haunting from the get go and that each resident deals with it in their own way…mainly by trying to make sure that the ghost's attention never falls directly on them. In short…I loved it. Watch it and don't read into the negativity. There are worse ways to spend a movie night
